In-House Exhibitions

Apart from during January each year when we hold our sale, the majority of our wall space in our Gallery section is given over each month to a different local artist.  We feature selected artists who work in different mediums from photographers, water colourists, oil and acrylic painters, silkscreen artwork, pastels, collage and stained glass.  From large land and seascapes to delicate and detailed miniatures there is a wealth of talent on show.

The exhibitions started in June 2007 and proved so popular that the wall space has already been booked many months in advance.  Each month we will highlight pieces from the artwork currently on display on this page so please do check back for regular updates.  If you are an artist who would be interested in joining our list of exhibitors then please contact Jo on 01626 888669 for more information.

Artist exhibitions run from the first working day of each month - through to the last working day of each month.  Some artists have special arrangements to be "in-house" during the exhibition and details of these times can be found on their advertising information, on this website where known in advance, or by telephoning us for more details.

Exhibition of work by Pat Simmonds:

Pat Simmonds grew up in this part of Devon and her love of the countryside, river and sea views is evident in her artwork.

From views across the River Teign sweeping up towards Dartmoor, to the gentle simplicity of a boatbuilder at work in his shed building a traditional wooden boat - there is a peace and tranquility to her work which really brings the subject to life.

For this show Pat has also included views from further afield - with a river scene from Brittany and a sheep's eye view of the Welsh coast.

Pat is a member of the Teignmouth Art Society and exhibits her work with them as well as at other exhibitions around the South West.  Her work will be on display here throughout July.
